Chicas vamos a dejar nuestras ideas para confeccionar una carta que vamos a dirigir al Sr. Pedowitz presidente CW, sobre todo, porque nos gusta BATB, referencia PCA,escritores, argumento, y porque nos merecemos una 3ª temporada, con educación en la vida se puede decir todo o casi todo. Como siempre un placer mis adoradas luces.

Dear Mr. Pedowitz,
With all my due respect, I'm writing to you with the hope that you will have in account this letter which has the only aim to ask you not to cancel the show Beauty and the Beast.
I'm aware that the ratings haven't been the expected, but may I suggest you the possibility of changing the airing day. Mondays aren't good, because it airs the day before in Canada and many people watch the show downloaded from internet. Airing the same day in both countries would avoid this problem.
Beauty and The Beast is successful in Europe and all over the world, many fans are waiting for the 3rd season and each day we, the fans, are participating in social networks to support this show. Please take into accound this.
Beauty and the Beast deserves a continuity, for the wonderful storyline of the characters, for the cast and crew, and for the fans, whom have fought for the People's Choice Awards, and we won again.
Thank you so much for your kind attention and I ask you again, do not cancel this show, please.

Dear Mr Pedowitz,
Taking your suggestion, to contact you and to tell you why Beauty and the Beast has to have a third season, may I expose my opinion:
-Beauty and the Beast is a show and its argument grasps the interest of a particular audience, which was gaining every day, at first weren't very high, but due to the love of VinCat was consolidating, the audience grew up, getting a new season and winning a People's Choice Award.
- On October 9th 2013, began the second season, with a not very strong audience, which fails to take off, but in my opinion this is due to several reasons but outsides the show:
1. The change of the airing day- Monday and Friday, as you know are the worst days for the issuance of any show, because sometimes has to compete with sport games, particulary football, basketball, which are followed by most viewers, like here in Spain.
2. The fact that is issued on different days : Sunday in Canada and Monday in the USA, that's the big problem. Monday morning there are uploaded in internet the links to see the new episodes and the fandom (mi, the first) early in the morning we already see the episode, removing the audience broadcast in the USA, and where is the ratings measured and counted. It is logical that the show is keeping that poor audience.
3. This could be easily fixed, and you, as good manager as you are, you will understand and you should change the day, by airing the same day in Canada and in the US, but honestly if I could choose, I'd prefer on Thursday. I want to let you known that in Spain, as in other countries, we can not see online CW TV, and our audience does not count. It also might be possible, this is an idea of a friend of mine, that CW could create a web where we could download the show and counting it as audience. If we add it the publicity that could be inserted issuing the show, it would be a good point to consider. I am sure that you, as director and manager, you could see the benefits.
4. The system of measuring Nielsen ratings. There are a lot of homes that doesn't have it, thus, how the audience is measured?? This is not a real audience, I'm sure that there will be many homes which watch the show but in the absence of the said apparatus, they don't count as audience. Also if we add people who watch online or download it, I'm sure that the rating would be higher.
5. The twist is taking the story right now, is certainly noticed that has better quality, better special effects, more exterior locations and has invested more financial recources in this, the actors have better records, which it's good for their professional growth, but the plot of the story has moved away from the essence on Beauty and the Beast, probably with the intention of capturing other viewers, besides they already had it, but I think it had an opposite effect. Vincent being so rude, unfeeling like a robot, hurting Cat physically and emotionally, has made to lose viewers. May I admit that this fandom is terribly devoted, especially because they are waiting for the VinCat reunion.
Personally I think that each show has their special viewers, because of the show's issue, because of the characters and this should be maintained for the duration of the whole show. I mean that we don't want love and only love, but neither they hate each other. The show has such potencial that would be a shame to waste it. The actors are terrific good in their different records.I love Cat's biological father, is a charming bad, I love his personality, acting and I also think that it would be good to exploit parallel histories like Tess and JT couple, such different characters but such attractive. Like poles repel, unlike poles attract. My goodness, the audience is claiming for them.
The evidence that this show is loved, are the two PCA they won, as the best scifi show and the best scifi actress. Our Kristin Kreuk is gorgeous in all the ways and because of her attention and respect for this fandom, you can understand why we are fighting for her. But in this point I will be criticism with CW. They gave low priority and poor publicity that we won two awards, our actors weren't present at the People's Choice Awards Show, losing a golden opportunity to give them and to the show, more publicity. As well, other actors from CW were there picking up their awards in less important categories.
Mr Pedowitz, you said that Beauty and the Beast is your baby, pamper it!!
I don's want to convince you, I just want you to fell the same as this fandom, before canceling the show, think there are more possibilities: very important to change the day and should count the ratings in other countries, not only in the USA but in Europe, Latin America or Asia. As you can see, I'm Spanish and in my country the first season has an average of a million viewers, almost equal or higher than in other countries. At the present time, there is an inrease of 50% downloading the show in lots of webs.
Mr. Pedowitz, you have a rough diamond, so polish it!! But with the right techniques. The BATB fanfom will support you in everything is good for the show, considering that if this show disappears, the fandom will go away with it, and we are far superior to what the ratings reflects.
And finishing this letter, I would like to thank you for the attention that you have given to my letter, and I'd like to know your oponion, if it could be possible to answer me. I'm sure you can always scrape a little bit of your time. I hope 2014 will be good for you, personally and professionally. Regards and have a great day.
